Franco Moretti gave the talk "Three Concepts" at the Synergies conferences on September 25, 2020.
Franco Moretti, professor emeritus of English (Stanford University), is one of the world's most influential literary historians. In addition to his many books and articles on primarily the modern novel, Moretti is a pioneer in computational literary studies and the founder of Stanford Literary Lab.
In this talk "Three concepts", given at a hybrid-format conference "Synergies" on September 25, 2020, for an audience at The Royal Library in Copenhagen, professor Moretti reflects on the methodology and historical view in digital humanities. The 35-minute talk is followed by a 30-minute discussion.
